Submission Walkthrough

Our submission process is straightforward. Here's what to expect from start to finish:

Prepare Your Manuscript

Follow the journal-specific author guidelines. Ensure your manuscript includes all required sections, figures, and declarations.

Create an account on our submission portal and upload your manuscript. You will receive a confirmation email with your submission ID.

Editorial Assessment

The Editor-in-Chief performs an initial screening for scope, quality, and completeness. Desk rejection decisions are typically made within 3-5 days.

Peer Review

Your manuscript is assigned to 2-3 expert reviewers for double-blind evaluation. This typically takes 2-4 weeks.

Decision & Revision

You receive the editorial decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. For revisions, you will have 2-4 weeks to respond.

Acceptance & Production

Once accepted, your article enters production: copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. You will review the final proof before publication.

Publication

Your article is published Online First with a DOI, then assigned to an issue. It is immediately open access and indexed.

Responding to Reviewers

  • Address every comment individually — even those you disagree with.
  • Provide a point-by-point response letter alongside your revised manuscript.
  • Highlight all changes in the revised manuscript (use track changes or colored text).
  • Be respectful and constructive. Reviewers volunteer their expertise.
  • If you need more time for revision, contact the editorial office promptly.

After Acceptance

Congratulations! Here's what happens next:

  1. Copyediting — Our team reviews your manuscript for grammar, style, and consistency. You may receive queries to clarify specific points.
  2. Typesetting — Your article is formatted into the journal's layout (XML/HTML and PDF). This typically takes 3-5 working days.
  3. Proofreading — You receive a proof for review. Check carefully for errors introduced during production. Return corrections within 48 hours.
  4. Online First — Your article is published online with a DOI immediately after proofreading. It is fully citable at this stage.
  5. Issue Assignment — Your article is assigned to an upcoming issue and volume.

How long does the review process take?
First editorial decisions are typically made within 2-4 weeks. Total time from submission to publication averages 6-8 weeks.
Is there a fee to submit a manuscript?
No. Submission is always free. Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived for the first 3 volumes of all our journals.
Can I track my submission status?
Yes. After submission, you can log in to the submission portal to check the current status of your manuscript at any time.
What file formats are accepted?
We accept DOCX and LaTeX formats. PDF is not accepted for initial submission. See individual journal guidelines for details.
Can I submit to multiple journals at once?
No. Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is not permitted. Your manuscript must not be under consideration elsewhere.
How do I request an APC waiver?
Our journals currently waive APCs for the first 3 volumes. After that period, waivers may be available for authors from low-income countries on a case-by-case basis.
Can I share my published article freely?
Yes. All articles are published under CC BY 4.0, which allows sharing, adaptation, and reuse with proper attribution.
